Wah Idea

Kinski
So, I was thinking of building a fuzz and a weeper wah into one enclosure. I was thinking it would be great to have a 3-way switch that would allow for:

1. Only wah
2. Only fuzz
3. Fuzz running into wah

Is this at all possible?

If not, perhaps just the 1st and 3rd option?

Need some similar switchings myself :)

I've been thinking it should be possible using a 4x3 rotary switch.
I'm not sure. Anyone? I will order one and try to figure it out...

cheers / Fredrik

I have a change in plans...I'll just use 2 dpdt toggle switches. So separate on/off switches for each effect.

Guys, I'm trying the same thing with three separate pedal (a wah, a tremolo and a delay). I don't know if the configuration of the rotary (4 pole 3 position) is correct, but I've got no signal and a volume drop even if it's bypassed.

I connected one pole to the input, one to the output, one to the lug 1 of a potentiometer and the last one to the lug 2&3 of the same potentiometer. I used three project with the same configuration for one of the pots (coloursound wah, crap-fi delay and the skippy tremolo).

This was just an experiment to replace my cry baby with something more suitable with my tastes so I don't need it to sound perfect, I need it just to sound. In the next days I'll check the whole circuit by myself, but I'd like to know if the rotary configuration is correct. For the connection of the single board (power supply and grounding) I used the offboard layout on tagboard.

Yep, you can do it with a 4x3 rotary.     I'll try to draw up a diagram in a bit.

Just think of it as two separate DPDTs and it's not so hard to figure out.
