Where is the output on the board layout?

THE-ElBaRtO
Hey guys,

It's the second time I try to make my own pedal and I chose to make an oxblood distortion pedal using the layout I found here: http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.fr/2012/05/hipkitty-oxblood-distortion.html

But there is something confusing on the layout: the position of the "Input" cable is shown but not the output one...It may be a silly question but is it because the "Volume 3" on the layout correspond the output ? The "Volume 3" cable goes to the volume pot and then comes out of the Volume 2 to the output jack. Is that how it works ?

Thanks for your help

There should be a wire from the board to volume 3.

There should be a wire from volume 2 to the output.

Volume 1 goes to ground.

Output goes through the main stomp switch to the output jack.

Check the off board wiring tab on the main page.

I understand that you're describing this offboard tab: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k5Sh68yVU18/TzGRFKbiALI/AAAAAAAAAlk/CbfaaduUjYQ/s1600/%21Offboard+wiring.png
What I don't understand from this tab is that there is a clear "Output" labeled coming from the board, but there is none on the oxblood pedal distortion layout.

In this case there is no direct output from the board,  the output comes from volume potentiometer lug 2
