Which fuzz with BC237A and BC237B transistors

ruskicar
Hi all,

I want to make my first DIY fuzz pedal using some layout from tagboardeffects, which I really like due to simplicity. I am looking for a simple fuzz with 1 (volume) or max 2 potentiometers, so that I can fit it to small enclosure.
I found a pair of BC237A / BC237B transistors, and I was wondering if you can recommend some fuzz project from tagboardeffects which can be assembled using those transistors with zero or very minor modifications?

Many thanks

Not exactly a fuzz but it rules regardless.

I don't know the hfe (gain) of those transistors, but I'm going to guess the A is around 100-150, and the B around 200-300.

If that's the case, a Fuzz Face variant (see the 1 knob fuzzes) or a Fuzzrite will probably sound great, and both are simple circuits.

Thanks for you suggestions. I think I will go with the DAM Meathead, it looks simple, and I checked some videos and like the sound.
