Woolly Mammoth mods for guitar??

Hi guys, first time on the page and there is so much great stuff on here. A quick question. I have just picked up a Little Bear Woolly Mammoth clone for next to nothing and I really love it on guitar. My only complaint is that I can't seem to get it to sound bright enough. Is there a mod to add brightness / fizz? Or perhaps cut the bass slightly?
