Zvex Box of Rock 2np quick newbie question

Hi guys,

I haven’t had luck finding any 2np caps as required for this layout. I found out that I would work the same if I put 2x 1np caps In parallel but I’m not sure exactly where to put these in the layout. Would really appreciate your help.

I’ve attached a pic of the layout.

Drill out the holes slightly larger, a 1.5mm drill bit will do it and it would mean you could keep the parallel caps together in the layout.

Thanks for the reply Kizzer. So I would just have to duplicate the current 2n with two 1nf caps- is that right?

Why not just use 2.2nF capacitors instead?

There's room on the vero for the parallel caps without drilling and doubling. The one from row 1 to row 3 has room right next to it, one column to the right. The one from row 1 to row 6 can be doubled by putting another cap from row 6 to row 10 in the column all the way on the right.

Lasermonkey is right, though. Using 2n2 caps would work fine, if you have some. I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference.

Thanks mate. I might just go with the 2.2nf since I’m still pretty new at this
