accessing the forum on android

induction
Hi all. I'm going out of town for a week and I would like to access the forum on my galaxy s4. Every time I try, topic list shows up for a second and then disappears.  This happens on both the built in web browser and on chrome. I can't figure it out. Does anyone know how to fix this.

I'm leaving in 90 minutes, so this is kind of a hail mary. If I can't figure it out, I'll see you all in a week.

Here's a shot to try...try installing the dolphin browser on your phone.  It's free.  It has an option where you can load up webpages as if you were a computer rather than a mobile page.  Great for those sites where the mobile site(guitarcenter!!) sucks.  Hope that might help.

I installed it. Nice browser. The forum still doesn't work correctly though.

I've tried it on the mobile and desktop settings in all the browsers. I've also tried disabling the popup blocker. No dice. Damn.

Bummer.  Not sure why it doesn't work on your phone.  For kicks I just tried it on my s2(!!) and it worked/looked flawless on the dolphin browser(didn't try the default).  Maybe something else is at play?

Ok. I tried it on the built in browser, selecting the desktop setting in the browser, rather than the one at the bottom of the page. That seems to work so far. We'll see how long that lasts.

Can't find that setting in dolphin. Do you know where to look?

For dolphin, under settings, there is a user agent setting, choose desktop.  Pages should all then load as if you were on a regular browser rather than mobile browser.

Even though it might be overkill saying so, I had the same problem on my Note 2. Firefox was the browser that got job done for me.
