i've got one and they are great pedals. have modded mine to switch between 1n4148 and germanium 1n34a options for the clipping diodes. all the info you need to do the mod is at fsb. was a nightmare to work out the mod. this was a long couple of years ago and i could barely read a schematic back then.  there are a lot of components and it's a double-sided pcb.
but i stuck it out, learned a ton and made a nice pedal great. very superfuzzy with the germanium option. darkens it up really nicely. the 1n4148 is brighter and more fuzz war-y. not sure what the stock diodes were, had a similar hfe to 1n4148 but a finer grit clip.

it's kind-of based on a modified 6 tranny superfuzz plus a booster section. maybe a buffer in there too.

i have one of these. i tried rehousing it and the circuit board just fell apart, it's garbage. still want to build my own.
