Hi all, hope this is not one of those you idiot questions but....
Built 5 meatheads(one knobber versions) for myself and friends, all have been fine.
Using the switchable caps / dpdt instead of the stock input output caps has given me an intersesting problem,
When in centre position (stock caps as per layout) the output is low, real low. Switching to different combinations is met with loud and not so loud. The tone is changing but the gain is all over the place.
Have replaced both switches and caps with the same result. The only thing i can see is i am using a mixture of ceramic and green caps.
Thoughts? Much appreciated.
