protecting the copper on your vero/stripboard

when you guys finish your builds, do you do anything to clean up or protect the copper on the bottom side of your boards?

the DIY pcb guys swear by cleaning the flux residue off and then tinning all of the copper tracks or putting varnish over it once all the parts have been soldered.

i'm guilty of leaving the copper side mostly "as is".

i leave the board alone. with that being said, i've been contemplating using some of that liquid electrical tape and coating the bottom. i was thinking this would be the perfect insulator so that i don't have to worry about the board grounding out or anything, but thinking about protection it should do a dam good job protecting it too.

I agree, and that stuff isn't super difficult to remove either so if you need to make modifications or repairs it's still possible. I don't do anything to my copper either.

My board copper side use to lay above a bunch of cables... However, when I have enough space inside the box, I fix the board with velcro:
