ii just finished two thunderbirds. i have made 8 now. one of these two is the battery version and the other is the verified. Both whistle when gain and volume are past 3 oclock and tone is past 3/4 oclock and treble is past 3/4 .oclcock i havent had this issue with the other builds. i tried switching out the lt1054 on both thinking maybe it was like a 7660s issue but it only does it when things are set to the extreme.also once i turn the gain past 4 oclock it just cuts out . i had this issue on a shredmaster once and never did fix it. i have the wires spread out on the bench ..i tried switching out a few caps here and there but no luck yet
