Superbolt Issues

So I've built a few Superbolts and with half of them when I put power to it, either the IC chip starts to smoke or one of the caps explode.  Anyone else having issues like this?  I get most of my parts from Tayda as well.  Is it their IC chips?  Is it my wiring?
