Are you suggesting us to get together and order the board + the SMD already soldered using pick-and-place machines?

That would be very cool. We could design the "smallest" board possible and order a big bach of MMBF5457 and MMBFJ201. Those you can buy in 3000+ reels original from Fairchild.

I don't know how much it would be to request to manufacture like 3000x 5457s and 3000x J201s.

Also, it would be cool (but I don't know if it is feasible) if the P&P could already solder the leads :D
