Red: Powah!
Black: Ground (used to use blue for a long while)
In and out: shielded wire (used to be grey)
Lug 1: yellow
Lug 2: white
Lug 3: green
switches: brown, orange blue, purple, grey and whatever else I need.

In the old days of when I started out with BYOC kits I used the same color wire for everything, as you only got a single color strand with your kit, but that obviously makes tracing a nightmare. I buy my wire from Smallbear but it did took some time to finally get all the available colors, as shipping costs and customs duties meant I had to keep the orders small to only two rolls of wire each time.
