using two buffered pedals in series

Sensei Tim
would there be any problem in using 2 pedals that both have buffers in series with each other?

would the low output impedance of the first pedal in the chain cause problems with the 2nd pedal?

(pedals in question are 2 klons in a single enclosure)

No problem at all. The ideal situation is that the output of a pedal should be very low impedance, and the input of the next pedal needs to be high impedance (ideally many times higher) to avoid loading and tone suck. The Klon has a fairly high input impedance courtesy of the buffer, and a very low output impedance from the opamp mixer output.
