Maybe lose the output buffer transistor, use a dual opamp IC and use the second opamp for the output buffer to save a bit of space.

Amz has some interesting ideas on a warp circuit for the clipperz. Maybe throw one of these into it?

And here´s with the simplest warp-kind-of-thing.
No clue what value the warp-pot should be..
If you want that "compliance-derivate" on the top of the page, just move the cathode of D2 two holes down..
