Here comes a suggestion to add on utilities Section.
A power switch, selecting 9V or 18V, thnk will help a lot of people...

Yeah this is the idea plus using a switch to choose from 9v or 18v.

Adding a switch would just be an offboard change to that same layout. Feed 9v to lug 1 of an spdt, use lug 2 as your "power out" and connect lug 3 to the 18v on that layout.
