Does anyone else's postman suspect them of being a spy?

This morning I got a pack of these in the post:



I think my Postman is starting to think that with all the packages containing electronics equipment from China and Russia that I'm some sort of communist spy, explaining that it was a box of transistors only seemed to make matters worse *facepalm*

I think my postman either thinks of me as "that jerk that yells at me when I destroy another magazine", or "that dirty liberal hippy down the block" (I live in a rural, religious, and very conservative part of northern California).

It's really weird here. The elections were...eye opening. My wife's currently trying to get a position as a teacher in London, so I may end up being an ex-pat anyway. Personally, I'd like to be able to visit places like Florence and Bruge, instead of stupid Baton Rouge.

Definitely visit Florence, one of my girlfriends oldest friends lives there now so we went to visit her last year.  I was completely blown away by how beautiful it is, we went to a Noel Gallagher gig there too which was excellent because the venue was much smaller that it would have been in the UK where he'd only play arenas.

My Masters degree would have been in Art History had I stuck with college, and Florence was pretty much the epicenter for the Renaissance evolution of art due to the Di Medicis. I would be remiss in my art-nerd credentials if I didn't go there.

You'll love it, the architecture is amazing and there's a plaza full of sculptures next to the old town hall.  We were lucky that our friend has lived there for a few years and speaks fluent Italian so we essentially had our own tour guide for the stay, excellent.

Haven't received any of those Cyrillic or Chinese packets yet, all I know is that my postman is italian and tries to chat up my girlfriend in italian just because he sees my italian name on the post she collects.

I live in an apartment, so I kind of worry that a maintenance person is going to pop in to work on something and see these packs with Chinese addresses, Russian labeled valves/tubes, soldering stuff bathroom counter covered with a plastic drop cloth, metal enclosures, jugs of mineral spirits, naptha, rubber gloves... UNIBOMBER!!!
