Drag'N'Fly Filter Pot Wiring Question

tracer03
Trying to get a Drag'N'Fly working, and I wanted to check to see if this wiring method would work...

The Filter Pot 1 & 2 lugs are connected to the board, and the Input is routed to the same connections, so I thought wiring like this would be the best way. Would this work, or do I need to wiring both the input wire *and* the board connection to lug 1, and then a jumper from Lug 1 to Lug 2?

That’s how I do it, except I don’t link the unused lug to the wiper when I wire a variable resistor. In this case I would put both wires on lug 2 and leave lug 1 empty.

It will work the same either way. If that confuses you, just ignore everything I said and do it like the picture (of course including the lug 3 wire that is not shown)
