Disclaimer:
I am a hobbyist who experiments. my terminology may be incorrect, my phrasing and explanations may be awkward. Now, let's have at it!
first I used this layout
http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2016/05/ross-phaser.html This was one of the first uses I tried with this envelope follower and I built it inside a box with the phaser.
I'm using a modded version of MAO's layout for the Craig Anderson envelope follower.
The phaser's LFO needs to be disabled and replaced with another voltage source.
On the top row, there is a 10k resistor feeding into pins 1 and 16 of an Lm13600 chip and a long link feeding to the other Lm13600 chip's pin 1 and 16.
I added a wire after the 10k, sent to a switch, and back to the board and placed a cut between the two added wires. the other pole of the switch is the voltage from the envelope follower board.
Hope this makes sense and was of any help.
the interaction is good, it does what I thought it would do. the phase sweeps dependent on picking/
strumming strength. It feels very much like an autowah with certain settings, with other settings, strumming takes on a new feeling, a less predictable sweep, almost breathing and never out of sync with your drummer
