Gooseoniqeworx seventh heaven trimpot

angeltone
Finally got around to wiring this pedal up and the trimmer in the upper right of the board (I think it's for Q4) doesn't seem to work.  I can't get the drain of Q4 or Q5 to drop below 8.6.  The three other trimmers worked perfectly when setting the drain.  I checked the trimpot with the multimeter and it seems to be in working order, as the resistance changed on the multimeter as I turned the trimpot.  Any suggestions, I've double checked the placement of the components several times.  Thank you!

I just did a google search and found that there are two different layouts for this build.  One of them is the one that shows up when you search for pedals in the amp emulation area, that is the one I built.  The other says "VERIFIED" in green at the bottom, this one I found in the google search.  I am attaching both images, maybe someone can help me determine if I should have followed the "VERIFIED" layout, or if the one I built from the site should work or maybe work with slight modifications.  You can see there are a few differences in the trace cuts, J201 placement of Q5, a couple extra jumpers etc.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Verified layout:

The layout I used:

Idiot Alert!!  I ended up with the 1K resistor in the 6th hole instead of the 7th.  Problem Solved.  Of course the one that is on the main site is correct and many people have built it.  Always check closely
