Greetings folks,
Before i post up images and voltages (unfortunately becoming a regular theme with my builds), i wanted to ask a quick question. After my failed WH Platypus (never got to the bottom of why it didnt work) and half-failed Small Clone (passes dry signal but with no added modulation despite LFO tick if i press my finger on the track-side of the board), i figured id go for something a little easier. Hence the Jersey Girl Fulltender.
http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/jersey-girl-fulltender.html?m=1A bit of a squeeze getting all in with tge two switches into a 1590B, but fired up nicely first time (using the LF444). As i said, it does work as a subtle overdrive with single coils, but if i engage the 'edge' switch in 'higher gain' mode, the effect becomes rather noisy. Now this may be a feature of either the pedal itself, which is why i'm asking.
I will try alternative quad op-amps - is the LF444 inherently noisy, for instance?
Again, thanks for all the work and hand-holding you folks do :)
Adam
