Just can't figure it out!

Ok, So I tried my best to show the individual pots and inputs/outputs as best as I could. Then I tried to show, individually, how they are hooked up. I tried switching the pots around (switched the 5K with the 100K) with the end result of a very quiet farting sound. I then put the pots back like they are in the schematic with the end result of a volume boost, nothing out of the 5k pot. After dealing with frustration and disappointment I hooked everything back up to the breadboard and jammed out for about an hour. Let me know what you think.
You say that the potentiometers are wired backwards, do you mean I have the ground and hot lead reversed?
