LM380 2.5 WATT AMPLIFIER

I was looking for an amp that has more headroom than a Noisy Cricket for some cigar box amps I want to make.

Anyone want to try their hand as this schematic?

I've got some 8 pins versions of that IC, do you specifically need a layout for the 14 pin version?
They're the same but the 14 pin versions have 7 pins to ground for some reason.
