  I built this with a open mind not being overly impressed with the Purple Plexi build from a while back.
Even after changing the Drive 2 - 47nF Cap to 10nF, 100nF Cap to 47nf, Tone 3 - 22nF Cap to 10nF.
I just find that it is Bloated with too much Low End with the Gain up with a Telecaster.
I used a LM386N-3, Does the JRC386 sound Better.
Any Mods you guys have done to make this worthwhile Boxing.

Hi Guys
           I just went Crazy and kept dropping the Drive 2 Cap til I was happy, Leaving 15 minutes between changes and I settled for 4n7 (47nF on Layout).
Went back 1/2 hr Later and still happy!

Call me crazy but guess what the Cap is on the Purple Plexi 800, Yep 4n7!
I put the 22nf Cap back on Tone 3 & it is sounding More like a Cranked Jubilee than a Booming Fuzz!

Might be worthwhile checking Cap value(s) on an Original again!

Hello,
I did not arrive at a good result with this circuit, can be a mistake on my part that I did not know to see or a component damaged.
A whistling in the background noise unpleasant whether with a JRC386D or LM386.
At home the circuit works but like a noisy fuzz.
I leave it a little rest to take it back later and maybe the light will come at another time :)
