Rant warning:

I messaged Catalinbread (twice) via Facebook 5 days then 2 days ago asking them if they have a release date for the UK... both messages have been 'seen' but have I received a reply? have I shit.... I believe you should always treat customers (people) with a bit of respect and courtesy. It doesn't take much energy for a simple response (even just to say it will be announced) so as far as me once considering buying the pedal, they can now shove it up their arse.....sideways.....

I've actually been tinkering whilst having a look at the Supergroup's preamp schematic.

Whilst I think it's fairly safe to imagine a Naga Viper at the front (possibly with a fixed level out) like it's the case with the Galileo, I'm looking at the preamp JFET adaptation. I've drawn down a mu amp first and foremost and I'm not trying to decide whether I should go the ROG  way (one JFET per half tube) on the post gain stage or mu amp (U2B) + single JFET (U2A). Anyone has a more in depth knowledge to have a stab at whichever might be a potentially suitable way to tackle it?

Also the Supergroup has a Marshall style 3 band EQ, I guess a good way to implement the Presence control could be to whip out a Duncan TSC chart and look for any peculiar general frequency response (if any) and then simulate the presence control (which I believe is the control in the power amp schem) or keep the high mid/high end nice and open and add a reversed low pass filter to tame it to taste?

Just thinking in theory while a bit bored at work you see, forgive me should I have gone a bit off the rail here...! :)

I agree, I don't think it will be far off. I definitely think it'll be a Naga with fixed boost and heat with just the range control active and that going into a ??...
