Switchable Transitors

A buddy of mine want me to put different transistors on a switch inside his CMATMODS Brownie. I think I understand the concept, but I just wanted to run it by you guys and make sure everything checks out.

I would use a 3PDT switch with transistors on the outside lugs and leads to the board on the center lugs. Is that right?

Yes, that's the way.

Just take in mind that, if I'm not wrong,  Chad swaps on the Brownie Q1 and Q2, so you'd need two 3PDT's to get he high / low gain versions.

Also, I'm not sure if this can apply to your situation but here on the Fuzz Face mods you they use a DPDT and connect the Base legs together.
