Being an Old Fart Newbie I only recently discovered the magic and complexity of Big Muff Pedal Circuits and I wanted to learn more and found a site that may be of use to DIY Big Muff Enthusiasts Newbies.  If you also click on Big Muff Schematics you will find all the Schematics and how other pedals clones came about from the Big Muff.  The explanation of what each section and important resistors and capacitors do will also help in understanding of other pedal designs.  Hope you enjoy this as much as I am.  The Link Is:-

Yeah, I learned a lot from this page, is a must to understand BMP changes, components and sounds.

You can check too http://www.bigmuffpage.com/Big_Muff_Pi_versions_schematics_part1.html  to see nearly all versions, many many variants pf the same V and comercial clones.

Using Mark's layout you can try every version and sub-version you want, but as stated on these webs, don't forget that BMP circuit is extremely tolerant to components swappin' and even trannies hfe is not a matter of importace, so expect very subtle changes from version to version.

Thanks JaviCap & Dodido.  I have already built the 66 Triangle, Rams Head & Black Russian.  I am going to Build the Civil War & Green Russian and I can put together your CheatSheet and with each Build Learn more by Ear about the Subtle differences.  Thanks for the idea, links  and contributions. Much Appreciated.
