That “Flangelicious” looks amazing!!! Well done

It has been a LONG time since I have posted a build here. This is nothing fancy, just a quick simple Rangemaster that I wanted for my new studio

Yesterday I finished my Sunn Model T. Unfortunately, I didn't took any gutshots and I'm on my way to work now (by train). I used a PCB for this one that also includes a booster in front of the actual Model T circuit. The booster is switchable and the LED is a dual colour one (red = on without the boost, green = booster is engaged). I'm happy with how this one turned out and the sound is just what I was looking for.

I think i bought some of the same kind. Mine are covered in oil, i presume to stop them rusting. Are yours the same, and if so, is the oil easy to clean off?

I didn't notice any oil on this one, but the tabs on the inside of the enclosure that hole the screw-on feet in place were in rough shape. the one in the upper left side actually broke off due to rust. i had to clean the whole area and re-attach it with some superglue.

Oil is usually easy to clean off with dish soap like Dawn

You could use something more aggressive but I would be afraid of it affecting the paint and printing

This post was updated on .
Black Arts Toneworks Badascan, (LSTR with pharaoh tonestack), with switchable LSTR/Pharaoh tonestack, and 6 pos. clipping rotary switch.
It also has a 3 pos. on-on-on switch, (as model t preamp channel switch), that lifts either bass side or treble side of the tonestack, (in the middle position remains intact).

Hello awesome folks! I've built quite a few projects on this site, so I figured I probably owe ya a pic.

I've been fond of the DeArmond Square Wave I built with some very low forward voltage Russian diodes. I also love the AMZ mini-booster going into it. But because the diodes are clipping so much, the volume out is pretty anemic. So, I've been using a LPB1 to boost that.

Figured I put them all in the same box!

Not as neat as I'd like, but I was frankly surprised I didn't mess up the wiring:

Nice Blorvak, I love that finish. It takes me back to my old experiments mixing hammertone paints and spraying hammertone on a different color of wet paint etc

I really like to use the Square Wave with one Ge and one Si diode. I find this sounds a little more dynamic while also increasing the output a bit
