Thank you! This is my first time using it actually and I love it as well!  Pixel print is/was having a sale on it last time I checked. 50% off and if you get 4 of them shipping is free ( at least it was for me in Canada ).

I always wanted to try it out but had a hard time finding it with any of my regular suppliers. Bonus being there also located in Canada so shipping wasn’t held up by the Canadian customs

Re: Show your pedal guts!

I’m in the same city as Fortin amplification .
( Whitby ON)

It’s not really known for much except a bunch of NHL players, Protest The Hero and of course Fortin.

Calgary’s awesome though, I use to take trips out there to skate the Millennium Park. I’m pretty sure Master Effects is from Calgary as well, just another amazing thing about Calgary🙂.

www.veroboard.com ( in North America )   I’m not sure where abouts in Europe but I’m pretty certain it’s much easier to obtain there.  I know there’s a few suppliers in the UK for sure, maybe somebody from across the pond can give you a website if your in Europe.

That’s too funny!  You and jokerx are basically the reasons I started building. So I owe you a huge thank you! There wasn’t many companies doing high gain, let alone slaying it like you guys were/are.

I’m going to start practicing doing Vero layouts so I can contribute and hopefullly give back a little to the community, So you’ll definitely see me around here a lot more now.

Also if you have any advice for someone just starting to build pedals for sale I’d love to hear it! Your one of the companies I’ve always thought did a really great job

Thanks Tesla, I'm in the UK, veroboard with that particular pitch is a little harder to get hold of over here. Non of my usual suppliers stock it. Thought eBay would cater but nada...haven't built much myself lately due to family commitments but I'm looking forward to getting back on the hobby horse! Btw what are the black domed components? Are they trans or caps? They look cool...✌

I buy boards from Vero through amazon.

I’ve always wanted that dark phenolic RS stripboard from the UK!

The black dome parts are transistors. My Superfuzz has transistors that look like that, I think they’re cool!

at the risk of being naive, what are the benefits of 0.15" pitch stripboards?

Most/all IC's and sockets are designed with 0.1" pin spacing. and most box caps are ~0.2" lead spacing.  Unless the only goal is to make more room for NOS/mojo parts?

Tesla: thanks!  if you're ever in the area again drop me a line!  btw, how is that 5153 circuit?  i've seen the schematic around but haven't gotten around to doing a layout yet.

Re: Show your pedal guts!

That's correct...it's more for classic fuzz circuits really, the extra space can handle large axial capacitors and chunky carbon comp resistors better. The original Sola Sound Tone Benders were made using Vero of that particular pitch so there's a bit of vintage accuracy there. It's certainly not essential by any stretch.
