Man i can't believe I missed that post! I don't look in the library part of the forum very often  Thank you for all of this info, I know what i will be reading today. I have one more question, have you dabbled with the "primetime" feature that pruttel says the code is capable of? that would be awesome to implement that in a fuzz for a solo or a short passage! your programming box looks cleaner than most of my pedals

You're very welcome! I feel like the library is a bit underappreciated though it contains lots of good information, especially for a new builder. Hope you enjoy it and that it helps you.

I haven't yet tried the primetime, although I do agree it would be kind of a neat feature, let us know how it works out if you do try it  And lol, yeah I tried to make it as clean as possible because I literally had it mounted on an offcut of vinyl flooring with some ugly ass flywires that wouldn't actually stay in place properly before. I had to hold all the wires down to make sure they were making good contact while the code was being uploaded, it wasn't fun

Wampler Faux Analog Echo with Taptation tap tempo and modulation board. Not a bad finish, but not so pretty on the inside...

Just finished this build of a Fuzzhugger Doom Bloom, that was supposed to be my Christmas break project but through my own stupidity ended up taking until now to complete  Sounds super nice and is very versatile. It ate through my remaining stock of blue and yellow wire though!

Looks like a great build to me, man! Spaghetti wiring is all part of the game.

Hey johnk, do you make your own soft bypass boards, or do you use someone else's design?  They look different than the rest of your boards but still have your patented wire through holes.  :)

sometimes i etch them myself (the tan ones), but the purple ones are the same circuit that i designed for OSHpark. the only problem with the OSHPark ones is that they have a mislabled resistor silkscreened on them. i emailed them about it a couple of times but they never responded.

I'm curious about this one: This is a twin T envelope filter with electronic bypass switching? I can't find a clip to hear how it sounds, what's it like?

IMO, It's not the greatest sounding filter, but it's pretty unique. i used a relayed true bypass in mine since the stock circuit has a buffered bypass. when i compared the output (with the effect in or out) to true bypass level, the output was much lower than the true bypass signal so i added a dual Jfet booster so i could have a clean output than as well as a a boosted effect output with separate volume controls so that both can go way past unity gain.

Nice, is that a 1790NS enclosure?

What keeps the LEDs in place and how did you get the little black circles so perfect around the LEDs?

It's a Hammond  1590XX enclosure.  I think it's similar in size to a 1790NS.

Those black circles are just shadows from the fresnel lens enclosure.

TS/Timmy is a great combo for sure - looks fantastic!

Now finally boxed: my DBA Echo Dream. 7 pots + 2 switches is a bit messy... As also discussed on the main page there's no modulation at 9V, so I decided to go with a permanent 18V charge pump.
Definetely a great pedal!
