Haha , trust me there's plenty of "spaghetti mess" it's just got plenty of room to hide away under the big board.

Some crappy pictures of a Chasm Reverb I just built for a friend. Lovely-sounding circuit, and went off with far fewer hitches than I expected.

That reverb looks nice!

What circuit did you use for the relay switching?

Thanks! I used the microcontroller-based one from FSB here. There's more about it in my guide too. I really like it. I had to modify it to work with the buffered bypass of the verb itself though, which is why it looks different.

Thumbs up for the chasm reverb - I struggeled with mine for months now but recently got it working after serious headache... great build!

Here's a Devi Ever Hyperion in a 3D printed enclosure (I used "transparent" red plastic) - the 90° printing pattern results in a frensel-like effect for the LED that is installed inside the box whih I think is pretty cool

Mug, very cool you have access to a 3D printer. You should print some knobs!

Well I did some, but was not really happy with the results yet...
What is really usefull are some dummy enclosures with lots of holes for pots, jacks etc. to help planning/testing component placement in the enclosure. I also use it during offboard wiring. Next time at the bench I'll shoot some pictures!

Again, don't know why they're turned around but here is a modded Angry Troll with gain pot and bass switch (output caps on switch, 3PDT with 100n, 100n and 220n) and a Green Russian Muff.

Wait... I mean I put the 100n cap on a switch. Miro suggested it and it works nicely. I found it a little too trebly for my liking so the switch can fatten up the tone a bit.

Thanks about the paint. I really like fantasy and mystic stuff so I thought Rasputin would work well for the Green Russian. I have BC549s in it as well.  I know I asked about a mid control pot but I like the scooped sound the most with the Russian. The Troll has artwork from an old Lord of The Rings poster I have. It's Gollum.

That's what I thought at first. Yea the 100nF cap to ground rolls off the high end, low pass filter created with the gain control. Makes perfect sense. I was planning on doing something similar when I get around to building mine. I thought the image on the troll was familiar, and I'm a huge LOTR fan, so you definitely get bonus points on your build for that.

I'd recommend it. Probably much better for bass that way too. I get 100nf, 200nf and 320nf on my switch and both lower settings sound good. I didn't test any other caps but I'm not sure you'd need to for a guitar. It sounded great with a dirty Orange and clean AC10.

Dual overdrive. Timmy and jus morning glory.

I found that the output wasn't high enough on the morning glory so I used a j201 instead of the 2n5457

Also almost turned into a tragedy because I drilled the hole for the power jack thru the the part of the enclosure where the screw goes . It took quite a bit of time with a dremel and a few grinder bits to make it all fit.

In the process of replacing my Vero version of Box of Hall. PCB design is my own. Box is not ready due to nearly a week long rain and cooler than normal temps makes it impossible to paint in the garage.

Yeah, 220, 221. Whatever it takes.

Simple 3-channel mixer.  Had to shoe-horn the board in there because there was very little room after all the jacks and pots were in.

Hey silverblues. I'm having a hell of a time with the chasm reverb. I've built two boards still no success. Is there a secret or its this that one that everyone talks about that they couldn't get working?
