This is my most recent build. It's a Klon Centaur. I kind of crammed it in there but it works. Not my best wiring job but definitely not my worst. It's a powder coated tayda 125b with some sweet gold knobs I got from small bear.

what a coinky-dink. I just finished a klon centaur in a 1590B:

I used  a PCB from AION on this one:

Faustone Fuzz Unit. I think my oven was a little too hot and I messed up the powdercoat a little bit. The finish looked better about halfway through the cure

Diagonal resistor on the board as a crude fix to my layout blunder

Beaker
I really like the stone texture finish on that Travis.

Finished just before Christmas, but only just got round to posting it, Ace Tone FM-2 Fuzzmaster.

I called it "Tetsuo" as I believe that the common name Tetsuo can mean "Iron Man" in Japanese - like in the movie of the same name.

Seeing as it sounds like early Sabbath, I thought it would be appropriate.

Inside - plenty of room for a battery!

Sa weeeet!
Ya already know I'm a big fan of the sanded finish for builds. Less is more

Love the name and the use of other  languages. Well done, Beaker. Well done
Yeah, 220, 221. Whatever it takes.

That is the coolest build I've seen in a while, John. Excellent work!!

Is that bracket for the tube socket a Keystone part?

Very clever to put the battery between the 3PDT and jacks. Quite a bold move to put the DC jack at the top

Looks like some cool soviet diodes and PTFE insulated wiring too. Bet it sounds gnarly!

thanks. I just made the bracket myself out of some right angled aluminum.

been awhile since i posted any recent builds. haven't had a lot of time to build anything for myself due to some life things going on, paid builds, and working on some new enclosure designs. but anyways, the last 2 builds i recently did for myself.

1st a mutron phaser 2 done using the krypton pcb

the eye is for the lfo  speed.

2nd a modified DAM sonic titan

i've got a few more i need to finish up the enclosures so i can get them together.

and here's part of the reason i haven't had build time.

back in october i adopted an 8 week black lab/american staffordshire terrier pup, who's just turning 6months on sunday. he's finally starting to calm down enough to where he'll hang out on his bed next to me at my electronics workshop, rather then just run around like a maniac. in the pic he was 5 1/2 months old and 45lbs, and was outside playing with a tennis ball, that he tore the fuzz off of, as you can see hanging out his mouth. he's now about 50lb. he's going to be a big boy. lol

i got it over in the buy/sell/trade section over at the madbean forum. not sure if there are any more left. but, here's a link. there's something odd going on with the forum, not sure what's up, but all my posts last year are gone, and so are all my pm's. hopefully it hasn't happened to anyone else.

and thanks, glad you like them.

Oh, thanks.

And yes, Madbean forum had a huge crash. It lost pretty much all 2015 activity. Sucks! Members have been slowly reposting all of their builds, mods, etc.

that explains it. i noticed it was acting odd the past week or so, but didn't realize it was a complete crash. that's terrible. hopefully things get sorted out and back to normal.

My first post here.  EQD Bit Commander.  Pre-painted 1590B from RS Components.

Very tight build.  The transformer stands too high to get the lid closed, so I made a spacer from acrylic cut from a new laser cutter we had installed in work.  As you can see I got the corner radius wrong but it was a great learning experience. Tempted to pull the whole thing apart and try to etch some graphics.  The more you get into this hobby the more software you have to learn!

And as for the guts...I've shown them to 3 people and they all up and died.  I'll spare ye all that fate...this time.
